Easy Crockpot Taco Soup

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 6-8 hours

Servings: 8


1 Pound ground beef or ground turkey

2 Tbsp minced onion

1 15oz can no-salt added diced tomatoes (undrained)

1 bag of frozen corn

1 4oz can diced chiles (undrained)

1 15oz can black beans (drained and rinsed)

1 packet mild taco seasoning

1 packet ranch seasoning (ranch dressing mix)

1 15oz can beef broth

1 cup of water

Optional: Shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, green onions


  1. In a pan, brown and crumble ground beef/turkey with minced onions until cooked. Drain excess grease.

  2. Place mixture into slow cooker.

  3. Add in diced tomatoes, corn, black beans, chiles, beef broth and water.

  4. Stir in packets of taco seasoning and ranch seasoning.

  5. Mix it together well and set on low for 6-8 hours.

  6. Serve and top with optional toppings.
